I like the community that is fostered during mealtime. The food of a region is also a great way to connect with the place, so eating together is also a yummy way to learn first-hand about French Mediterranean cuisine.

Our talented retreat chef will delight your senses! All of our meals are home-cooked in the sweet kitchen of our retreat headquarters by chef Vivienne. Her cooking reflects the delicious local cuisine with a special focus on the big Mediterranean influence here. Wherever possible she buys fresh local produce, and her dishes include seasonal delicacies.
A typical meal could be a seasonal salad or soup to start, a grilled fish from the Narbonne market, served with a sauce vierge and roasted Mediterranean vegetables, local goat cheese, or a selection of cheeses, followed by delectable dessert.
Here are some of the dessert ideas Vivienne has floated past me:

Some evenings, we may choose to enjoy a selection of canapés with our drinks, instead of a starter. Or, a more substantial cheeseboard with fresh fruit, instead of dessert.
Our chef Vivienne Clegnac, of Home Cook Narbonne, is happy to cook just about anything we'd like, so if you have a particular favorite, simply let us know in advance.
